CDF Chairman Su-Kuo Huang has encouraged colleagues to support public welfare and gather energy for regional revitalization, jointly promoting sustainable development in Taiwan.

In line with the ESG goal of "contributing to the sustainable development of Taiwan's urban and rural areas by 2024," China Development Financial Holdings (hereinafter referred to as "CDF") hosted "ESG Charity Fair" at its headquarters plaza. The event gathered 35 social welfare organizations, social enterprises, and regional revitalization potential teams, and with the purchasing power of over 2,000 CDF employees, it generated sales of more than NT$2 million in just three hours, showcasing the company's significant social impact.

CDF Chairman Su-Kuo Huang has encouraged colleagues to support public welfare and gather energy for regional revitalization, jointly promoting sustainable development in Taiwan. This year, 10 local revitalization teams supported by CDF's subsidiary, CDIB, including a soy sauce shop in Yunlin, a workshop promoting day trips to small towns in Kaohsiung, and an entrepreneurial team in Pingtung using betel nut as a dye to make bags, showcased their creative ideas and attracted many onlookers.

Furthermore, the China Development Foundation recruited over 20 CDF colleagues for the "Dancing 100" project, which replaces traditional gymnastics with innovative dance. These colleagues performed a flash mob dance to symphonic waltz music, infusing the market with a youthful and lively atmosphere.

Steve Bertamini, the President and CEO of CDF, has revealed that the annual ESG Charity Fair is the event he looks forward to the most and never misses. Not only does he personally visit every booth and support the market through consumption, but he also leads senior executives in preparing ice cream and tea for employees. The ice cream was well-received under the warm winter sun, and even neighbors who were attracted to the market joined the queue. CDF employees joked, "Receiving ice cream squeezed out by the CEO himself makes all the hard work over the past year worthwhile!"

CDF is deeply committed to the concept of social welfare and is dedicated to promoting ESG. In addition to hosting an annual ESG Charity Fair, CDF also promotes corporate volunteer service programs to accompany social enterprises, social welfare organizations, and local farmers in their growth and development. This allows CDF's welfare partners to experience the full extent of the company's support and strength.
