Since 2013, the CDF Foundation’s Love for Shelter Bakeries group purchase initiative has provided funds for training physically and mentally impaired members of shelter workshops and social welfare facilities. Said training focuses on teaching the professional skills needed to operate the bakeries run by these organizations, but even more so on obtaining the life skills required to eventually transition into society.

Every winter, CDF employees are offered the option of purchasing a bundle of baked goods for 1,200 NTD that will be delivered to them throughout the course of the year. Many consistently participate in the program; as such, employees have purchased well over 5 million NTD worth of products since the program’s establishment.
